  Deflagration, In-Line Flame Arrester
     
     

Deflagration, In-Line Flame Arrester In-Line flame arresters are normally fitted within 50 x pipe diameter of the possible source of ignition (dependant upon gas application) which allows the
arrester to quench the flame at sub-sonic flame speed. Suitable for pipe sizes up to 12” (300mm).
MTP flame arresters are certified compliant with European ATEX and PED directives where applicable.
     
     
  End of Line Flame Arresters
     
     

These end of line units are designed to be used as a venting device for installation at
the end of a pipeline or exit vent on a vessel.
An ‘end of line’ unit is designed to prevent an unconfined deflagration in the surrounding atmosphere
from entering the pipe or system and is not suitable for preventing a flame from within the pipe or
system igniting the surrounding area.
Suitable for pipe sizes up to 30” (750mm)Compliant with the European ATEX directive.

 Vent Combi Flame Arresters
     
     


This flame arrester works in exactly the same way as an ’end of line’ unit. It is designed
to prevent an unconfined deflagration in the surrounding atmosphere from entering
the pipe or system and is not suitable for preventing a flame from within the pipe or
system igniting the surrounding area. The flame arrester will only be required when the
valve connection is venting.
Suitable for pipe sizes up to 12” (300mm).
